Cauliflower Pepper Fry


Ingredients

1 cauliflower cut into florets

3 tbsp tomato ketchup

1 onion sliced

2 sprigs curry leaves

2 tbsp oil

1 tsp mustard seeds

10 flakes of garlic sliced

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

1 slit green chilli

salt to taste

For masala paste

1/2 tsp fresh pepper

2 red chillies(badagi)

1 tsp jeera

1 onion sliced

Method

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil and fry all ingredients under masala paste for few minutes and grind it to a fine paste. keep aside
  • Cut cauliflower into big florets and boil adding salt to it
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil,add mustard seeds,curry leaves,green chilli ,garlic and fry till golden brown
  • Add onion and fry till it turns pink in colour.
  • Then add masala and fry for a min ,then add cauliflower and mix it well 
  • sprinkle little water and cover and cook for 5 min or till it turns dry 
  • Add tomato ketchup and fry it well
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it with roti
