Til ke ladoo

This is my variation of til ke ladoo ...here i have used  peanuts too it gives a lovely additional crunch you can omit it if you don't like peanuts ..Traditionally we are grown up making the sweet with sticky jaggary  known as untu goda this i have made with normal jaggary still comes out v nice do give it a try :)
Ingredients

1/2 cup jaggary 

1/4 cup water 

1/4 cup til (Sesame seeds) (2 tbsp of white + 2 tbsp black Sesame seeds)

1/4 cup peanuts (roasted)

1 tsp cardamom powder

1 tsp ghee

Method

  1. Roast sesame seeds till little brown and then when it splutters keep aside. 
  2. Roast peanuts and keep aside.
  3. Heat water and when it comes to a boil add jaggery and simmer till the jaggery cooks and dissolves and bring to a boil till you are left with thick syrup.
  4. Add 1 tsp ghee mix well add sesame seeds (roasted), peanuts, elaichi powder and mix well .
  5. Grease a plate with ghee drop the mixed mix then dip your hands in water or apply ghee and shape it into roundals. 
  6. Leave it to set and store in an air tight container.
