Ingredients
1 cauliflower cut into small florets
3 tbsp ginger-garlic paste( 1 tbsp for gravy)
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
a pinch of red food colour
1/2 cup maida
3 tbsp cornflour
1 onion chopped
1 tbsp soya sauce
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp vinegar
6-7 green chillies(slit)
oil to deep fry
salt to taste
coriander leaves and 1 tsp fried garlic for garnishing
Method
- Take a bowl, add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, food colour,maida, cornflour and salt and enough water to make a smooth paste
- Dip florets in the batter and deep fry it till crisp. keep aside
- Heat 2 tbsp of oil then add ginger-garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappears,then add green chilli and onion and fry till golden brown.
- Add tomato ketchup,soya sauce,vinegar,salt and fry it for a couple of minutes
- Lastly when its time to serve add fried cauliflower and mix it well and garnish it with fried chopped garlic and chopped coriander leaves.
