Ingredients
20 - 25 Jumbo prawns (deveined and cleaned)
For Marination
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp haldi powder
1/2 tsp fine corn meal
salt to taste
For Tadka
5-6 big flakes of garlic finely chopped
4 slit green chillies
1 sprig curry leaves
2 tbsp coriander leaves
For gravy
2 finely chopped tomato
2 tbsp cream
3 tbsp oil for frying + 1 tbsp for gravy
salt to taste
Method
- Marinate prawns with ingredients listed under Marination and keep aside for 25-30 mins.
- Take oil in a pan drop in these marinated prawns and fry well till cooked and oil oozes out.
- In small kadai put oil add green chillies, chopped garlic fry well now add curry leaves and fry add coriander leaves fry and put this on prawns and mix well.
- In pan oil 2 tbsp oil drop in chopped tomato and fry well till mashed add cream and mix well. Now add the flavoured prawns and mix in....taste it its such a beautiful burst of flavour. Garnish with coriander leaves ...You will also say simply superb !!!!
