Ingredients
1 cup Maida
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2-3 tsp sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander
2 tbsp white sesame seeds + for sprinkling on top
3/4 cup softened butter
1 tsp yogurt(optional)
Method
- Mix flour, baking powder, sugar & salt in a mixing bowl. Add butter, Do not knead, just mix it well with your hands until you get a bread crumb consistency
- Add chopped Coriander leaves, sesame seeds and mix and make a soft dough and refrigerate for 30min ( can use yogurt to get the right consistency)
- Now roll the dough and cut it with the help of a cookie cutter, sprinkle sesame seeds on it, press a little so that it sticks to it
- Bake it in preheated oven at 180'c for 10 to 15 minutes or till it is slightly brown on the edges
- Cool it on a wire rack and then serve when required
