This is one of my Mom's favorite and she usually prepares this on those days when she dont have onion or garlic, this gravy is flavourful, rich & creamy and really very delicious and can be prepared very quickly and its perfect with rice or roti....and when u have unexpected guests for lunch or dinner...And also sending this dish to mothers day event hosted by Jyoti of panchpakwan
Ingredients
1/2 cup boiled green peas
1 capsicum diced
1 tomato diced
1/4 cup cubed paneer
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies
1 tbsp kasoori methi
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 cup fresh hung yogurt
1/4 cup fresh cream
Salt to taste
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
2 tsp oil
Method
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, when it crackles add green chillies and kasoori methi and fry for one min
- Add tomato and capsicum and fry for 2 min and then add boiled peas and mix well
- Add cumin powder,turmeric powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, chaat masala powder,salt and fry for another 2 minutes
- Add yogurt and cream together and stir well till it becomes creamy and bring it to a boil(add a little water if too thick)
- Lastly add 1 tsp garam masala powder and coriander leaves and then mix well and then serve hot with roti or paratha...
