Ingredients
1 Cup cooked basmati rice (mixed with salt)
1/4 cup babycorn (cut diagonally)
1 capsicum cut into cubes
2 spring onion sliced
2 Red Chillies (bedagi)
4-5 flakes of garlic (finely Chopped)
2 tsp oil for shallow frying + 2 tbsp
salt to taste
1 tsp honey
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp tomato ketchup
2 tsp chilli garlic sauce or chilli sauce
1/2 tsp chilliflakes (omit if sauce is too spicy )
2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp spring greens chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp white sesame seeds
pinch of orange food colour
- Take babycorn and mix all ings under marinade in it and kep side for 1/2 hour
- Heat 2 tsp oil and shallow fry the marinated babycorns and keep aside.
- In the same pan add 2 tbsp oil fry broken red chilli then add chopped garlic fry till golden brown now add spring onion (sliced ) and fry for a min then add capsicum and fry till it gets cooked yet crunchy and then add babycorn and mix . Cover and cook for 5 mins
- Now add rice and mix and simmer and cook for 10 mins. Serve with gravy for your choice....Just Yummmmmmm............
Babycorn is liked by all in my family...Capsicum would make a perfect combo..Should try this sometimes..Happy Holi Sushma !!!

ReplyDeleteLooks very beautiful & perfect!!!! You seem to be into Chinese a lot.... Who would not love it???? Their taste is kinda very catchy.... That sure is a yummy prep.... I have saved it too... I love baby corns...but I have wasted them many a times, not knowing how to prepare.... I take this as guidance(your prep)& would try preparing it the next time I buy them, instead of throwing it away after some days.... ;-)
