Ingredients
4-5 potatoes(half-boiled) and cut into med size cubes
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 onion sliced
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp green chilli paste
1 bay leaf
2 green cardamom
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 tbsp curds
1/2 cup milk
3 tsp crushed kasuri methi
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1/4 cup fresh cream
5 tbsp tomato puree
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp butter
salt to taste
4 tsp oil
Chopped green chilli and fried garlic for garnishing
Method
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan and add cubed potato and shallow fry till golden brown and keep aside
- Heat another pan,add butter,2 tsp oil , then add cumin seeds,bayleaf,green cardamom and fry till cumin seeds turn golden brown
- Add ginger-garlic paste,green chilli paste and fry till raw smell disappears
- Then add onion and fry till translucent,then add tomato puree and fry for 10 min or till the oil oozes out
- Add curds,red chilli powder,salt and fry , then add shallow fried potatoes,milk and mix well, bring it to a boil( if its too thick add a little water)
- Close the lid and cook for few minutes
- Add honey, chopped coriander leaves and kasuri methi and mix well
- Lastly add fresh cream and mix well
- Garnish with chopped green chillies and fried garlic and serve hot with Naan
