Gajar ka Halwa

One of the Most traditional and fav sweet :)

6-7 grated carrots
1/4 cup sugar(u can even add more sugar if u want it to be very sweet)
1 cup milk
10-12 cashews(fried)
7-8 raisins(fried)
2 tbsp cream
2 tbsp ghee
2 tsp cardamom powder
  • In a pan add grated carrot along with milk and cook till milk is absorbed
  • Then add sugar and keep stirring it
  • when it forms one lump then add ghee
  • when ghee is absorbed add cream,cardamom powder and fried nuts
  • Serve hot or chilled depending on the way u like
  • ( u can even add sugar-free if you are calorie conscious )
