Garlic Sev (Lasun Sev)

3 cups gram flour
6-7 Garlic flakes
6 Green Chillies
1/4 tsp hing dissolved in water
3 tbsp of v hot oil 
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
water from kneading
salt to taste
  • Grind Green chillies and garlic together to a fine paste adding water and then strain add 1/4 cup water in the stainer and take out the paste.
  • Sieve the gram flour so that you get a fine powder add hot oil it will sizzle a bit and then  now add this strained garlic green chilli paste to it. Then add salt, hing, turmeric powder and water to knead to a ,into a stiff but smooth dough as shown below

  • Now take a sev 'Press' with fine holes in it and press it in hot oil till the entire dough portion is passed through the sieves at the base of the mould as shown below and deep fry it for 2 mins till golden brown both the sides

  • Store in an airtight container and enjoy this snack whenever you feel like having it or when u prepare any chat
