Ingredients
2-3 burger buns cut into half horizontally
3-4 lettuce leaf
4 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tsp crushed peppercorn
salt to taste
For the cutlet
1 Cup boiled American sweet corn(crushed)
1 cup crumbled paneer
1 cup breadcrumbs
6 green chillies finely chopped
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp freshly crushed peppercorn
2 tbsp chilli-garlic sauce
2 tbsp cornflour
Other Ingredients
4 tbsp maida
salt to taste
Method
For the cutlet
- Heat oil in a pan add chopped green chillies and coriander leaves and fry for a couple of minutes then add crushed pepper corn, crushed corn,crumbled paneer and fry for a while
- Then add chilli-garlic sauce,salt and mix well
- Take this mixture in a bowl, then add 1/2 cup breadcrumbs,cornflour and mix well
- Shape them into round cutlets and keep aside
- Spread the bread crumbs in a plate
- Mix the maida into water to a smooth paste
- Now dip the cutlet in the maida paste then coat it with breadcrumbs
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these cutlets till golden brown and crisp(u can even shallow fry these cutlets)
For the burger
- Apply mayonnaise on both the side of the bun
- Then put lettuce leaf on the base of the bun
- Place the cutlet on it and sprinkle salt and pepper & ketchup
- Close the other half of the bun on it
- Repeat the same procedure for other burger buns and serve it with sauce
Wow...love the corn and paneer burger...Believe me my mouth is watering...cannot have mayo...
