Garlic Chicken

This is one of my fav recipes and it's so yummy that you will absolutely love the flavour here do try this and leave in your feedback :) 
For marinate
1 kg chicken
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 cup curds
2tbsp ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
salt to taste
For Gravy
1 tsp jeera
2 bay leaves
2 green cardamom
2 large onion sliced
2 tsp red chilli powder
10 flakes garlic finely chopped
4 green chilli(slit)
200 gms tomato puree
1/2 cup fresh cream
2 tbsp ghee
2 tsp oil
salt to taste
  • Marinate the chicken with salt,red chilli powder, curd, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste for 1 hour.keep aside.
  • Heat ghee in a pan with 1 tsp oil ,add jeera,bay leaf,cardamom and fry for a minute
  • Add onion and fry till golden brown
  • Then add Tomato puree and cook till the raw smell disappears and oil oozes out.
  • Add the marinated chicken and and mix it well ,add salt and 1/2 cup of water and cook it till the chicken is tender and gravy becomes thick.
  • Lastly add fresh cream and mix it well. cook it for 10 min
  • In another pan ,heat oil and add finely chopped garlic and slit green chillies and fry till garlic becomes golden brown and add this to the gravy.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve it with rice
